No, not really...
Hack up the breakbeat loop into at least three pieces: at least one starting with a bassdrum, another with a snaredrum, and another with a roll. Then go out and play with your own programmed breakbeat.
I think it would be better and easier if you practiced on breakbeat-based tracks with actual melodies, instead of the more abstract DnB / jungle. You'll always be able to squeeze in one or two weird sounds into a melody-based track, which is way easier than to make a track that is based mostly on the sounds.
