I started this track a short while ago now and got a little stuck with it, I really liked lots of the sounds and melodies going on but couldn't quite pull a structure out of it all, this is as close as I got for now.

I really like some of the arpeggio lines in this track, the synths that play them are all made with really basic waveforms that are then processed in unusual ways, there's a small amount of bit crushing here and there but it's mainly to just give that more 8-Bit feel to the sounds.

The bass sounds I like a lot, I limited myself to one wave-table and used a little bit of bit-crushing and a handful of other processing ideas to create a really dirty and wide bass, then dialed it back so it fit with the track and sounded cute and small but still had the grit. I also really liked the version of the bass-line that had more movement and momentum, it reminded me melodically of a Tame Impala bass-line I've heard in the past.

I like the cheesy chopped vocal sounding lead line half way through, I wanted to make a vocal sounding lead which is present a lot in this sort of music, so I made a small lead with a formant filter being automated by the envelope, I could've dived deeper into stretching the line into different vowels and seeing where it took me but I kinda like it as it is.

Overall I had a lot of fun making this beat and am glad to have finished something after my little Christmas hiatus lmao.
