'ello, buddies, it's Nibu back again, but it's not a new track lol, you'll probz have to wait until December
This is the revised version of Cyclic Remorse, since there were some flaws that really haunted me for the song's existence. For example, the "middle-eight", which was way too repetitive and became an ugly earworm. I fixed that with different base notes for some chords, plus some intensity fluctuations. The other flaw fixed is the dissonant notes in the beginning of the final coda, which were put into the actual scale as the rest of the notes in it.
I decided not to delete the other one, bc it's good to compare both versions and to carry on with the mistakes on the previous one. That's it for this time, the rest of the desc is just repost from the original version's description. Thanks for reading :3/.
So, the story this song tells is about a nostalgic feeling that comes to be quite uncomfortable, and starts to haunt. But then, it's temporarily overcome by idgafdom. Still, it resounds, and comes to a highest point, but eventually it's balanced and becomes comfortable.
I don't really know how I came up with this ostinato, just the piano version of noodling going on, I guess. I had wanted to make a kind of sentimental song; that is, where I threw in some feelings to it. This pöpped up, and I think I could slightly identify with it. If I had been dumb enough, this song would have been done in August 2016, but the middle-eight sucked (made of unevenly played single chords with relatively long silence in between), so I spent all of this time fixing that to something I liked.
Also, this song uses the same lead as 'Corrupted Archangels' in the drop, but this was the first use of it, actually the song the 'Dubstep Lead', as I like to call it (even tho its not), was created for.
Made in GarageBand for iPad.
