I worked on most of this afterwards, but I made some of this track while working on Between Sleep and Wake. So it has the same flare. I like to make tracks like this with rhythmic music that supplements percussion. And I was making these kinds of tracks to focus on being able to do better production and put a lot of focus on making percussive sounds and vibrant melodies. Learning to be able to use notes mostly are not used because of the sounds it makes that is haunting and knife to my teeth quality. But being able to mix them up to sound good instead of clashy in a bad sense, was another thing I really wanted to focus on. Something so easy to do now for me, but was hard to work for making the best production possible is to transition soft and loud music synths and instruments. Go from a huge dubstep beat drop down to an instrumental, and then back again. It's hard.
