Lyrics:

Origami... Heart

Slowly the children of Autumn fall down
Give way to the winter and an empty house
So the man that you once were is lost to me now
Yet I still hear you haunting my head with your sound

Is it you what comforts me when I am down
Your words here resounding like a thunder cloud
It's the mourning season, each morn peppered with wisdom
Have I conjured a fiction or are you still around

In my heart of hearts, I know we are apart
It's a place you're tucked in, paper construction
Origami Heart, you speak and I'm alarmed
Silence surely broken, paper construction -- art

Fold your shapes into my brain
Forge something I can't explain
Crease your life into my grey until we're young
Until we're young again

I'll wear your smile 'til my dying breath
Beating in my chest

In my heart of hearts, I know we are apart
It's a place you're tucked in, paper construction
Origami Heart, you speak and I'm alarmed
Silence surely broken, paper construction

Vocaloid ; Nice ! I would love to give a try to it (damn poorness :P).
I like all the piece in general, but the intro got the highlight for me, it was like Teminator meets anime.
Nice structure and despite the contrast between the different parts all sounds in place.
You Nailed that late 80's vibe on those synths.

ADR3-N responds:

Ah, I'm glad you like! That's a high compliment in my book. I'm not very talented with Vocaloid yet. A friend gave me her files. She quit using that and MMD a long time ago. The entirety of the structure is carried on a lyric poem I wrote a few months after my dad passed and I was starting to suffer symptoms of schizophrenia, more than likely stress induced. Took those lyrics, gave them meter, wrote the entirety of the melody, and designed the rest of the track with that in mind.

this is cool. i would love to see what you could do with Black Rock Shooter :)

ADR3-N responds:

Black Rock Shooter? Hmm. It's a song I do enjoy, but I dunno if I could get permissions from the original artist, if it's copyrighted, etc. If I don't do that, I can't upload the work here. My own original works for now, other stuff in the future, maybe!

sweet-ish

ADR3-N responds:

denkz :3

Everything's nice and clear, but yeah, I'm sure you'll find a way to bring the vocals forward a bit, so the lyrics are more clear, though in this (allegedly) unmastered state, it sounds marvelous and natural, easy on the ears.

ADR3-N responds:

One of these days I will sit down and master the art of Vocaloid. I admit it's way harder in English than Jap. The consonants and vowels are much more sonically complex. Getting there though!

This sounds really cool and original too! I especially liked the section that starts at 02:12
If I have to be nitpicking I would say I think it be better to have the vocals a bit closer panned to each other instead of panned one to the left and right (but this might be just a personal thing).
Good work :)

ADR3-N responds:

Listening again, I'd say you're right. On car speakers, it does sound panned too far (30%). The reason I panned them at all was to try and get some differentiation between the vocal formants, though. Thanks so much for pointing that out. Such a simple thing to fix.
