In such a tired and repetitive genre of EDM that literally EVERYONE makes because it gets the clicky click, it's REALLY nice to see someone trying to mix it up for once. I'm not a fan of dubstep but this is GOOD dubstep. Few things that I like in it- The quarter time snare, the slower tempo and more atmospheric instruments. Also no ear penetration up high.
Still not getting 5 stars though- it's too repetitive to earn that
Its got ADUSTy tune to it. ;)
Your work has taken a weird turn lately. when i last checked you made chiptune and overall great dance tracks. Now, 2 years later i check in aand i see you making atmospheric textures within heavy sound-design-based dubstep.
Whatever happened, i am more than happy. Not that there isnt enough such dubstep, just that i absolutely love different artist making different adaptations of this, usually pretty bland genre.
Now about the track itself. Melodies are kept very simple, but i understood very quickly that it isnt the focus. It is focusing on the atmospheric textures and sound design, which are very well thought out.
Take these 5 as a note that i like the new directions you are taking :)
Has a nice groove, and it's consistent enough so that you can kinda get into it without feeling like you're being
bombarded with random noises. It's chill yet hyped all at once :D ♥
