I like the energy at the beginning. The synths are a little generic, though, and I don’t think the kick was as strong as it could’ve been. There’s not a strong sense of progression for the first half of the piece - just changes in energy levels. The melody at 1:15 is a little square, and the instrument you used sounds really thin and ominous, which I don’t think you were going for. I think you have a good sense of rhythm and structure, although the composition here is pretty underwhelming. The piece is lacking on phrasing, dynamics, and development. The fade-out ending also came across as pretty lazy. I’d like to see you put a lot more effort into how you arrange and vary the piece. It’s not all bad, though - this piece is really catchy, and has some cool ideas between the hits that first come in at :16 and the transitions. Keep at it, man. ;)
