Fixed the mix but it my not be updated yet, my volume bar was set on 25%:(

Did a sorta 16bitish snes thing, don't know anything about the source material, but it reminded me of megaman, and it was called 'gun volt' so I added gunshots and some electronics being smashed.

Inspired from art by tomycase:

Made it the BG of my workspace as I made it.

The gun/tv samples are from NI's battery 3.

I feel like RealFaction covered the majority of what I would say in my review. Drums need brought up a little bit. Lead is sticking out very hard. That's probably why it's lacking much of the punch you wanted to bring. Fits the art well but could use a little more layering. Also feel it could have gone without that last bout of nailing the chorus in the coffin. Is quite repetitive, to the point it feels longer than it is. Did enjoy the end.

Not bad, but I something feels missing. I feel like it could use hi-hat at the beginning. Also I feel it's missing a couple layers, a lot of this feels empty throughout the song. I feel background strings to carry the piece more would help, but I feel this isn't bringing out it's potential as much as it could. It's lacking that energy it's trying to put out due to the missing elements. It fits the picture though, but neds some work. Not bad, not great, but it also gets a bit repetitive. It's lacking that "punch" that energy it wants to be.

Good effort though.

I think you killed what you were going for. The music goes with the art and hits the challenges of the AIM contest. Great job, good luck!

Thanks, I've fixed up the mix, don't know if the file updated, but I had windows volume bar at 25% when writing, so it doesn't sound good loud, it'll sound better when NG decides to replace the file with the new one.
