This is fantastic :) I really like it a lot! I can totally see this fitting into a game. It reminds me of a spooky level for Crash Bandicoot for some reason, but I never actually played Crash Bandicoot...Great bassline and melody and sounds! :)
I wanted to get this uploaded by Halloween but computer troubles prevented that.
Unfortunately, on top of having said technical difficulties, the toaster of a computer that I use could not handle this song very well in the DAW. That being said, I was unable to do any mastering. So, my apologies for the poor mix Q.Q
Anyway, I made this using some soundfonts to try and give it a bit of a 4th gen game vibe.
Hope you had a great Halloween!

I get a sort of comedic vibe related to the halloween theme. This song has a really good atmosphere as it is lively and not overwhelming after some loops, even a bit catchy. A 16-bit halloween themed game could easily profit from this. You did a really good job.
Its a shame you had to upload this until yesterday. Hopefully your toaster doesnt give you problems like those in the future.
Hope you had a nice Halloween as well!
Thank you for the review!
Sounds like you perfectly picked up what I was putting down. I'm glad you enjoyed it and I hope your Halloween went well too!
I like this song. It has upbeat yet spooky vibe to it.
I think it could use some louder drums, and maybe a few bell chimes. I feel that bells could add to the spooky vibe a little more, as well as add another layer to the song to make it a little more exciting.
I'm guessing that when you say "4th gen game" you're reffering to pokemon? Music from pokemon tends to have a few bell chimes in it.
I'm no music expert, so take my advice with a grain of salt. I'm just stating what I would enjoy.
Good work.
Thanks for the review!
There are actually bells in the end of the song. If you have headphones, you can probably hear them in the left ear. I wanted to do more, but the file was getting big that monitoring the audio was near impossible. It got so bad that I couldn't finish adjusting the EQ and levels, hence the quiet drums. It was either upload this, or nothing at all. By 4th gen, I meant 4th generation console, i.e. SNES.
Glad you liked the song!
Please contact me if you would like to use this in a project. We can discuss the details.
