Now from the first version of Skyvoid and the second there's a huge difference. I think you should try to level out most of your rhythms and bassline as well as drums. The bassline and drums seem to override the lead and melody of the song and with a high DB it makes the song not very enjoyable but that doesn't mean it's bad. You'll need to focus on your rhythms and your drums. Try to find the right leveling for them instead of adding too much bass on them. Also remember that mixing and mastering is as important as anything else. Keep trying :)
Yeah, at the time I made this, I didn't know about sidechaining, which is a very good tactic for leveling the drums with the bass to prevent them from overriding everything else. I've learned a lot since then, and this is a pretty recent piece XD I'm gonna see if I can implement a third version with my newer knowledge, and maybe polish the instruments a bit better.
