My wish is made, maybe a bit late but still, I want to find more music like that, this is an incredible piece of work you got there. You can count on me to listen to it the next 1 January and all the others ;)

Oi NGers! Here is something nice and dandy for all of you to enjoy. This was the first ever collab I did together with LSD. And like many other collabs, I enjoyed its process very much. Back then when I was a wee noob, writing something with structure wasn't my strongest suite, so this piece is a wee bit out of place in some parts, but it still has great style. Hopefully this piece would give you the strenght to face the exciting New Year ahead. Merry (late) Xmas and Happy New Year, eh!

Indeed! This is the first collaboration that I and dem0 made, but that wasn't uploaded until now. We decided that as we weren't going to return to it, we'd upload it as it is, despite the structure and the emptiness at some parts. I still find this very relaxing to listen to. We dedicate this track to the new year! I look forward to collaborating with dem0lecule some more in 2016 :)
As a side note, this is my 52nd music upload this year. I now have one for every week (though a lot were submitted these last few days, haha) in the year, just like last year. I think this is where the tradition ends though. In 2015, I decided to focus much on my music, as I didn't have any school or work for about 9 months. Now that that is over, I am very happy with the year that has passed, and I am excited for the coming one!

I like the ending. I didn't like the minute into it part as much. It made me feel too much like I was in a classic adventure wanna be that didn't give me as much freedom as I'd like.

This song is very reflective on the new year. It's bright and bittersweet. It assuages all my worries and makes me happy.

there's a distinct christmas feel to this. but it's very somber. the chorus is beautiful. the break to flutey sounding instrument @ 2 is a nice atmospheric change. especially when it picks up it's very bagpipey/irish. i'm reminded of last of the mohican's soundtrack.
whoop aaa something new at 3:20. i like all the dissonance that happens throughout the song.
great work guys... a lot happening here. different themes and styles... a lot of different instruments used here. transformed from a somber christmas story to an adventure into the new year.

Thanks a lot, dude! I can kinda hear the Christmas feel, with the bells and all. We're glad to hear that you like the piece. The nice instrumentation, those flutes and such were mostly made by dem0lecule.
Yeah, 3:20 returns to a variation of the main melody that you hear in the beginning! The structure is a bit weird, but it almost works for this track :)
