cool but isent this really heavy metal couldve of been something else of genre really dude if it is heavy metal you should expect drums plus bass guitars and heavy metal dont have acoustics..... but overall that voice kinda tuned up so yeah 8/10 4/10
NO NO NO you should not. That's the point. Stupid categorizing! Be a bit more open minded with that man. Why can't some of you people just enjoy the song? Why always trying to lecture the one that is actually DOING the music? An ongoing mystery...
It's in the RIGHT category alright...for example...just check Soulfly's song "Soulfly V" on the their album Dark Ages and you might get the drift. "Heavy Metal" isn't always alksdjflajeiodfjopaefja, if you know what I mean. ;)
Furthermore, I can't change the category anymore, even if I wanted to. ;P
Also...Heavy Metal stuff does include acoustics! ;P
Anyways, thanks for checking! :)
i really like the guitars and vocals
Glad you did, thanks for checking it out!
That's a pretty cool song man. Not only the guitar and everything, but the vocals. Anything with vocals by Bad-Man-Incorporated usually is a pretty kick-ass song. Nice slow and relaxing. Very mellow and sad also. Great all around. I don't see how I can't add this to my favorites. Good job.
Great fucking clean tune but its about christmas so it takes away from the awesomeness. Plus bad man really fucked up his vocals on this constantly going out of tune.
How bout a no vox version with some awesome lead harmonies.
Spectacular guitar work on this piece Dark. I agree with a previous reviewer in that it sounds like some of metallica's old stuff. I really like how you kept it simple without adding a whole lot of stuff. The guitar work is enough to keep you interested while Bad man's lyrics and voice really strike you as saddening and mellow.
The wind in the beginning was a nice touch as well, sort of set that ambient/melancholy mood when you started up the guitar work. The quality of the guitar is also very awesome and it really doesn't take over the vocals. The couple parts you showcase the guitar aren't too complicated but they are really nice and I enjoyed that. Tell Bad man he did an excellent job on the vocals and especially the couple times he harmonized.
It could have done with a drum track towards the end but I think that the fact that it didn't have one did not take away from the song. You could have gone with a massive buildup but you didn't and it worked really well.
This is a great entry, Fav'd, good luck in the competition!
