This is great, I'd would be great in an 8Bit video game, but I have to ask, why can't anybody use it?

This is a society waiting to die. We take after our parents and grandparents before us. All dead.
We pass away, and into another reality. Time passes until there is no future to worry about planning. Once people understand, there is no fear of death. Only pain, in whatever brief mortal penalty this is. Perhaps a level of Hell itself.
