friend of mine asked me to make an EDM song a while ago for her to make a music video for. that hasn't been made yet but this was finished a while ago.
she wanted it to be like skrillex and knife party.
I got the sample from a video of a lecture
has some different genres in it i guess.
starts as electro, then house, then dubstep, then more house.
made this in ableton suite 9 using operator and kontakt.
I love songs that have lecture voices in the background. I definitely get the knife vibe from these songs (Although their better side). Sick remixing. Totally enthralling. For more skrillex vibe I'd play some melodies longer like 1:40. I'm not the hugest fan of the trumpet but hey if you like it! I can tell there was a lot of effort put in this song.

lol lectures are kool. i think that melody at 1:40 is actually a sax but yeh it definitely sounds like a trumpet.
