honestly, this made me think about Cyberpunk 2077, looking out the windows at the streets below, with all the hustle and bustle of the street gangs and pedestrians walking around in the night... I feel like this would be a cool song for the game if they are looking for a song like this to add to it :p (maybe a scene where they are telling you about the city with a narrator over the music)

Great! It gives me the impression of a neon city on a rainy night.

The pads are super cool, like a living thing and the piano/rhodes blends well, which is something rare; as i tend to find piano to be so agressive/distractive/earpearcing in many many tracks.

I like the details like the simple delayed plucks, and the distorted sounds in the background.

For my usual nitpicking: the drumkit is a little dry compared to the rest.

Pretty much does what it says on the tin, it definitely sounds like a trip-hop inspired track with it's morphing/evolving textures and smooth composition.

I love how evolving all the textures and pads sound, easily my favorite elements of your track. They seem to be the defining feature in my opinion and blend together nicely with your Piano and your bass.

Personally I would compress the kick abit more and make it maybe 1/2db louder as it's surprisingly easy to forget it exists in this track (if it was intentional, disregard what I just said haha). Maybe a subtle amount of reverb to go with the rest of the kit to compliment the pads and bass work?

Overall I enjoyed listening through this track a good few times both on it's own and also attending to background tasks in my kitchen at the same time (good atmosphere for doing the washing up to!).

Not bad compared to what I expected. Definitely chill and relaxive. The song doesn't travel much though. Although I'd imagine that it was the intent. This works as good background music, but I wouldn't highlight it too much by itself. The only big problem I have is the way you've used the bass synth starting at 00:31. It sounds too bright at times as it starts, but I like it 00:36 when it settles down. I'd suggest using a different bass synth IMO cause it's not a bad synth but it doesn't work correctly in this track.

My only other suggestion is to put in the ambient genre. It doesn't help that this a chill genre in Newgrounds, but ambient fits better than dance.
