Surprise ! I didn't expect this. At first I wondered : "is this a cover of some song ?" then I realized it was not. Maybe I'm wrong. I don't know. But still. It's always a pleasure to hear a song like that here on NG.
The piano is goes pretty fast, which gives some kind of energy to the song that the voice doesn't have, vocal is soft, sweet, and that makes the song tored between the speed of the piano and the softness of the voice. It's like.. If slowing down could make the song smoother, but doing the opposite by accelerating or make the voice more vivid could have make the song more peppy (peppier ?).
What I meant is, what makes this song's originality is probably this ambiguity, this paradox between the speed, vivid, warm piano part, and the slow, soft, cold vocal part. It kinds of.. Make this song an hybrid. That's my oppinion.
I love it though. This song is a great piece of work. And it's very nice to listen.
