nice n bassy
sounds pretty tough with the bass up in the mix
i would double all your rythm guitars tho
Thinking about making this into a full tune now. Thanks for the name Darkside.

Yeah, I used my GNX2 for it all, so it's pretty thin sounding even though I doubled the guitars. I was really happy with the bass though.
Criptic...
The title says everything about the song. I liked it pretty much. Especially that quiet giutar noices.
I was quite happy with this one. Glad you liked it.
cool new song!
Like the new song! Sounds different from your other stuff. To be honest..it has the progressive metal kind of sound to it and reminds me of the band OSI for some reason. I think it may be the drums more than the guitars.
I was wondering when I'd be getting a review from you. Glad you like it and I'm going to have to checkout that band OSI I don't think I've hear dany of their tunes. Thanks for the review.
SpeelMetalMessiah - Cryptic
First Impression; "Downtown track?"
It had the general feeling of the whole "downtown" thing, just as the song made by DarkSide_555 which was based on your backing.
Anyways, you had some funk elements in the beginning, and a bit of ambience guitars later on.
I liked the funk elements in it, and the drums is an improvement when listening to your first stuff.
There's some note-clashing I'm not fond of, but it works to the degree where I'm not really screaming in pain and such.
Overall one of your best tracks Speedie.
Best of Wishes as always, Chris.
PS; Got a new theme up, for the MAC6 Contest (August)
Thanks a lot Arbiter. I really wanted to do something different this time around and I'm really glad I did it was quite refreshing. There is some note clashing but that'll happen when you try new things at first. I'll work it all out when I do the full version. Thanks for the awesome review my friend.
I'll definately be checking out your contest submission in a few minutes I'm sure it's awesome. I'm actually going to be making something for that aswell should be fun man good luck.
Great job!
This piece had a great feel. What I'm impressed most about is the clarity. I've heard a lot of rock/metal that sounds very muffled and hard on the ears. Have you setup a direct input to you computer?
Well done, keep up the good work!
5/5
Wow man thanks a lot for stopping by to review. Yeah I am recording direct to my computer. The rhythm was done with just my Digitech GNX2 hooked into the line in on the back of my PC. The lead I ran my GNX2 through my amp and then into my computer. Glad you liked it.
Please contact me if you would like to use this in a project. We can discuss the details.
