Past Haunts is a South African melodic post-hardcore band from Cape Town, in the Western Cape, that formed in 2012.
The band consists of lead vocalist and bassist Brett Allen-White, guitarist and backing vocalist Kristian Gerstner, guitarist Mitchell Lüthi and drummer and backing vocalist Scott Miller. They released their début EP, Underwater Lullabies, in 2013 and are working on material for a follow up release.
Past Haunts cite both old and new wave post-hardcore groups as their influences but also incorporate elements of punk and post-rock into their music.
