WHAT THE FUCK!!?!!?

Dude!!! The background bells sounded like they werw actually in my room!!! I felt so stupid when I realized they were coming from the song. I';m giving you a 10 for creating such a realistic sounding synth.

x-kinetiK-x responds:

LOL! Glad you liked them hehe. That would certainly be surprising!

Thanks for the review!

Loved It!

I love how the song begins, as if the bells are a bit far away. As the song progresses, everything becomes nearer, and you're consumed by the ambience. It's very neat! Great use of ambient noises, very. The end works perfectly, in my opinion. This is definitely some of the best ambient I've heard.

x-kinetiK-x responds:

Exactly the progressive effect I was going for, glad you got it. :D In my mind it's the rain approaching and slowly getting stronger.
Best you've heard, eh? Thanks!

I like this

A good idea would be to lower the volume of the bell sounding thing, and add some synth with the same pattern to replace it, just to stop the repetativness, maybe use a compressor to introduce it too. Then maybe add a 16th note pattern in the background, and very settle. That's what I would think would add a nice touch. Overall it was very nice. Just missing something.

x-kinetiK-x responds:

Yeah, those are some good ideas. I would try them out but, unfortunately, I no longer have the source file. Computers... wonderful, but unreliable. :(

pretty good

okay im gona do this +/- thing like everyone els lol and im gona say i dont listen this type of music but oh well

+ the start was good with those bells or whatveer they were i liked how the kept going for a while then switched up a lil

- the song takes to long to get started and its a bit repetitave because it takes to long lol

+ like all the sounds used

+ very peacefull and soft

+ good variety of sounds

- again way to repetitave

+ starting and ending come in and leave very nicely

- the dong and song.. went on for like a friging year..

and thats my review lol your welcome :P

x-kinetiK-x responds:

Most people don't like the repetitiveness (is that a word?) of it... Definitely understandable. Sometimes I get annoyed by it myself, but sometimes it lulls me into another world. Depends on my mood. :)

Simple

+ its a nice soft beat, good for an ambient track.
- that little jingle a few seconds after the beggining where you had the middle one higher then the other two really needs to be changed. its a kind of breaking beat.
+ nice accenting beats nearing the midway point, they do a good job adding ambience to the track
- Track lacks placement. when you make an ambient piece you really need to focus on what setting the piece is in. when you do that it effects what presents and instruments you end up using, and give the listener a place to go to when he hears it.
+ the beat is a complex enough at parts to save it from complete repeditveness. there were some more parts where some more layers would be nice.

pretty good overall

x-kinetiK-x responds:

+Thanks, I was going for a soft, rain-like feel.
-I'm not sure what you're talking about... The bells don't change at all until about a minute into the song.
+Thanks again :)
-Actually this was completely based on a setting, which was the weather earlier that day. It's supposed to show the feeling I get from rain while it's sunny out. But apparently I didn't convey it well enough.
+I was thinking about putting those drums in more of the song... But I decided against it because I wasn't sure if it broke the calm too much. Looking back, it probably would've made it a lot better. Oh well.

I may remake/add to this song in the future. If I do, I'll probably let you know so you can critique the changes.

Thanks for the review! Like you said, you have a very original reviewing style and it's much appreciated.
