This one is pretty dynamic. Let me know what you think and thanks for listening!
Point of fact: Yggdrasil is nordish for Tree of Life or World Tree. Yggdrasill, pronounced [ˈyɡːˌdrasilː]) is an immense tree that is central in Norse cosmology, in connection to which the nine worlds exist. This is, in part, my homage to my Norse ancestry, Thanks as always for listening.

Dude... this is just beautiful, the way you just captured the feel of a final battle, its really amazing stuff great job, i've never seen anyone do something like this as well as you proved you can here.
On another not i've always loved norse culture myth legend etc :3

Ethril responds:

I always felt such a stong pull towards my Nordic bloodline. Loved it in movies and all of the books that I've read. I never spoke or acted on it until this song. I made the song with obvious thoughts of battle in mind, but I had no name for it until I went to sleep. Funny how dreams can influence us, isn't it. I had a dream of a giant tree that was miles tall. Every mile or so there were great, burning cities and turmoil of some kind of futuristic style war. Made me think of Ydddrasil. I hadn't planned on naming it that but it totally fit. Thanks for the review. I love the comment~

This was a really awesome listen. Few people capture the theme of battle and war as well as you did. I really like what you did with the strings and percussion to give the song its intensity and epicness!

Ethril responds:

I'm starting to really get the idea that I should do a lot more Cinematic style songs. It's epic to make and it (for me) takes less mental effort to make, which tells me that it's a genre that I have a specific talent with. I love techno and ambient... but these are a dime a dozen and too structured most of the time. Cinematics are what we remember. Movies... games.... tv shows... that's where the most intense connections can be made. Thanks for the review! I'm so happy you liked it.
On another note... look up what Yggdrasil in Norse Mythology actually means. This is for my roots and for my mother Earth.
