Made this song with three friends. Calvin College puts out a CD every year that students can submit to by creating demo. We made the cut. We decided against making the song at the studio provide free for students making a song for the album. We were not a band or anything so we didn't have any ready-made songs to choose from. We just hung out and created sound so we wanted to create our song for the CD this way too. An hour of studio time did not allow us to create what we wanted to. It was really cool and organic the way the whole thing finally came together and how each individual contributed. When we recorded Angels vocals on like the third or fourth day, it finally started to feel like a real song - her voice gave it beauty and texture that was severely lacking prior. I had a blast sitting in front my laptop for hours by myself mixing and adding layers and effects to various tracks. A lot of school work got neglected that week.
