Wanted to capture the feel of a noir film through a song, so I made this little number. Headphones recommended and stuff. RAET COMMNET AN SUSCRIEB!!1

Beautiful. You did get the film noir feel perfectly, the only thing that could have made it feel more noir would have been a honkey tonk piano, but in this piece that'd knock some shine off. Mysterious, shady, and jaunty--everything a private eye should be. Well done!

Thanks dude! Yeah, I should probably use a piano for a jazz thing at some point :P

Chilling, truly. I love the melodies. The string is too wet, hence it drowns out instruments. Tho, excellent sax solos. Nice ambient sounds too. There is a car horn, near the end, quite distracting.

Good work overall.

Thanks! Yeah, I noticed the car horn too, but when I tried to EQ it out the sudden drop in ambiance was incredibly noticeable. Also, that was a muted trumpet :P Good advice on the strings though, I shoulda pushed them back a bit once the other stuff came in.
