Browsing through some of my favourite Audio Artists on NG the other day and came across Gorebastards guitar cover of Hell March from Red Alert. This Instantly motivated me to go ahead and start covering songs from the original (and still the best IMO) CnC game.
guitars and bass are all me .. drums programmed and the electronic parts i quickly put together in cubase with halion
I was originally going to do this track as a collab with jarrydn doing some fancy stuff with the electronic aspect of this song but i have had a hdd failure at work and lost the original session for this track :(((((( ohhh noeezzzz >:(((
voices were ripped from the original game .. i couldnt get all that were on the cnc gold soundtrack tho :( unhappy about that
I am still considering turning this into a big project and covering more if not all the songs from the original game :)
This is a pretty good cover of Act on Instinct, I will probably download this and listen to it over the "Official" one where they let the voices drown out the good parts way too much.
By the way, if there are any places where you can download the original in-game version, without any of the voices please let me know... I must have played that game for years and I want to hear it the way it appeared, not the way it was "meant" to appear.
