This is my entry for the MAC.
This piece really began with me playing around with the idea of a calm Romantic-era style work featuring violins earlier today. I kinda last minute decided to ditch my previous entry progress and start fresh on this... I've been working pretty much all afternoon and JUST finished. The piece is a mix of styles- from a rather lose style to a more organized contemporary score style.
This piece is about my life so far and it's continuation into the future, as today is a key turning point in my life- my 18th birthday. I'll leave the interpretation up to you. ;)
A big BIG thanks to Camoshark for his feedback on the progress of the piece, he was one one who came up with the idea of using bassoon as a key instrument in the beginning. :D
Any classical nuts will notice quite a few nods to various classical pieces in the motifs and chords.

This song is another one of my favorite pieces entered in the MAC. It's well written and the sounds you chose are awesome. The mix is really good. There's not much in this piece that I didn't like. You also get several bonus points for using Finale to compose the song. lol Really good job on this track.

Hehe, thanks. Still could deal with a good bit of improvement as the other fellas have suggested, but other than that, it's a piece I'm fairly proud of, which is rare, tbh. Glad you like it. :)
I was thinking of not writing any comments for you because you don't need approvals/appraisals now. What more I can write other than its simply marvelous ---- yes AS USUAL!
Adore the simplicity of this piece, the shiny calmness of those strings portraying your true-self and as always --- the flow of thoughts making it a perfect blend of peace and tranquility which in turns depicting who are you as a person in real life. A very happy be-lated birthday my friend :)
