I decided to return back to my original genre to see if I still got the hang of it, and well, it turned out alright. If you have time, please stay to listen to the whole thing, if not, at least stay till 3:30+

I don't see a lot of uplifting/dreamy trance music on Newgrounds, so I thought why not. Not many people are familiar with the genre, so I tried adding some progressive spice to it such as the rev clap > clap and progressive falling white noises. The song is really long monotonous (meaning it's really repetitive) and I feel that I didn't add alot of variations to the synths but I made it as dreamy as possible to counteract that. So enjoy the euphoria :D

Please give your criticism, I would really appreciate it a lot. I saw many mastering errors while making this song but it's too difficult to find or fix them, so yeah, some criticism...

[The last 30-40 seconds to the song is just a transition thing, before that its really just the end, so just ignore it if you can]

Very nice sound

So you have some really "NICE-AND-DEEP" sound works here some great quality on this one, you have a long track here too but it has lots of variaty and really played out well Here was a sound track that doesnt need my suggestions of improvment because this was solid work all on its own, I was really impressed with the sound here

~X~

i am fimiliar with this genre. and you know why there isnt allot on NG?
its bc Uplifting gets 'generic' and while it gets 'generic' it bores aswell...
i used to call every uplifting track "degga-degga"-lifting lol
its just not for me i know.. dont blame me for saying tho, im just open minded and..
speak openly abt it.

however, i like the bass in this track, pretty deep. but yea.. i dont want to hurt any feelings still i need to tell you it gets boring after some time..
music evolved you know.
we have a new genre called "trouse" a combi between house and trance.
not my thing either, but if you put it in the "bigroom" shoes youll get bigroom-trouse lol
and thats exactly my thing xD

anyways forgive me writing such a long speech about facts and stuff, it just had to be said ;)
nice track but gets boring after some time.
why dont you try a progressive house/trance song next time? take ur time to master/mix it
and show me when its done :D

SynchroSpectre responds:

Haha, I used to make countless of songs like these, but those were my noob years. I've learned how to perfect the genre and now I need to learn how to add finishing touches more experienced artists use to actually put someone in a trance.

And I actually don't mind it being boring, I find it quite boring myself, I mainly just skip to the transitions and stuff like that; I really don't listen to the whole song. I'm sorry if this is not your type of music but according to what the rubric says, I think I did pretty well ^.^

I'm actually less experienced in progressive trance and I'm interested to learn about it, maybe you can help me on those on my future tracks, you're pretty beast. :D

Thanks for the review, sorry I'm late lol :p

Interesting...it's dreamy and relaxing, but it also has a lot of energy. Love the climactic nature of it and the moody, ambient feeling in certain sections. It's pretty repetitive and distorted at times- not my favorite genre- but I understand that this is your style. ;) I like the rhythmic and energetic sections a lot as well as the dreamy beginning. In general, it's pretty catchy and unique, and I liked the ending. Good job! :)

SynchroSpectre responds:

Haha, unique? Almost every piece Trance music similar to this is almost exactly the same, this song follows the monotonous build and the breakdown the same way almost every classic Trance piece, of course some people try and mix things up a bit to prevent that but hey, this is a pretty easy genre.

(btw, I didn't do any "fade ins" and "fade outs" this time ;)

Woohoo i dig it so awesome!!! :DD

SynchroSpectre responds:

Yeeeaaaahhhhh!!!!
