like when link encounters a monster the music slowly changes to a battlle/suspense type music like from winwaker or Ocrina of Time just more of an orchestrated version.

Hookay, the only flaw I see here, is lack of diversity. I did a "cello only" song a while back, and regretted not expanding on the patterns. It starts to get annoying after a while. Like with the fade-in-cymbal; shift to a more fast-paced theme. Create some variations to throw in every second bar. People like that.
Ooooh, and add some lower cellos, going up and down quickly underneath the slow high cello. That always sounds cool, but make the low ones quieter.
AND NOW FOR SOMETHING COMPLETELY DIFFERENT...
Yes, the soundfont I used was BHCello. Go on limewire and search for the following things...
"Soundfont"
"Soundfonts"
"Akai"
"Akai Soundfont"
"Akai Soundfonts"
"Orchestral"
"Orchestral Soundfont"
"Orchestral Soundfonts"
"Guitar Soundfonts"
And whatever else you can think of. Some of them won't download for a while, but they're worth it.
Be careful though. Don't trust any file under a meg. It's probably a virus!

Whoa, thanks. I haven't gotten a review as helpful as yours since...probably the beginning of time. I'll try to keep in mind the cello stuff. I'm no musician(I'd be lying if I said I could play the piano; however, I once did play the opening choir theme to Halo by ear on my sister's keyboard), but I'm planning on learning so that I can improve my originals, and it's great that I can get some compositional stuff from you!
creepy... but nice
reminded me of sephiroth from FF7 but not quite. then kinda reminded me of one of the silent hill games. It does have that eerie feel to it that jack the ripper or some creepy old guy is going to leap out an gut ya. needed a little more diversity than the violins (or whatever they were). still pretty original and clear to hear. overal an 8.

Yeah, that's the effect I was going for. When I'm doing original music, I kinda aren't good at the battle theme stuff like in RPGs, but I think I can really do creepy! Thanks!
