Magical Music Box.
She found a music box and wound it while all the world was grey. Upon opening the box, colour seeped into the world and all was whole. Then the dream was over as the box wound down.

It's amazing how this song so easily creates the image in my head of her finding the music box, and curiously winding and opening it, then watching as the world fills with colour before her eyes. Almost as if she had just been wandering alone through the world with a heart that had been hurt and broken so many times, only to find someone that was finally able to bring colour and happiness back to her life.
It's just a matter of time now....

I think that twinkling sound is a triangle, but not sure. The song is good, but I think the twinkle sound overdoes the other tones of the song. But that could be the theme of the song I suppose.

Thanks for the review! It's actually a music box that makes up the theme of it. I guess some will like it and other will dislike it, but I personally feel that it adds to the story.
Almost puts me back in that Christmas spirit!

I love the simplicity you create with the sounds of the music box because it truly is so simple.
My favorite part is around 00:46 when the song takes on a darker tone, as if when she opens the box, at first she witnesses all the wonderful colors, and then at :46 the colors of darkness seep into the world as well. And then you bring it back with a great transition back to the music box at 1:04!

I liked the Thunder I heard every so often, gave an interesting effect!

Thanks for the review! It was written for a lady, and yes she is very special. Rainy day, I don't know.
I wanted to bring atmosphere, so of course I added it artificially. Also, a fun fact, the clock ticking sound heard in the song actually took me two hours to make. I recorded it from my pocket watch and syncing the tempo was a big deal.
Another great song. Out of curiosity, how do you make your songs. Is there a specific software you use, and do you ever use real instruments while recording?

Thanks for the review! Unfortunately, I don't have any real instruments to use while recording, I do everything Logic Pro, Apple's DAW. I use a Yamaha P-95 as a MIDI controller in order to play.
