So I decided I would try and write an orchestral piece, which I had never tried before. So I sat down at Logic pro 9, newly-bought with my piggy bank money, and came up with this. The whole time I was working on it, I had in mind it being the score to a short movie, so I have gun shots and explosions (lol). The big explosion after the intro was at one point eq'ed perfectly, but then it got messed up for some reason and I put it back together not as as well as I originally did. So it is bassy, watch out if you have nice big speakers :D. I worked over winter break on this a lot, and I think it has come out pretty nicely. I worked hard on mixing all the instruments, and I had very limited knowledge of compression, limiting, eq'ing and making all 92 tracks and 302 bars sound good. I played around with underlying synthesizers, basses, and trying to make the drums sound good and blend. I had to downgrade the Mp3 quality to 224kb or something so it was under 15mb to upload to here, but I think you can download the hq wave file at my soundcloud page. Feedback is appreciated! Please keep in mind that it was written for a "film" so the second part is a bit repetative but that is the nature of the two scenes.

EVERYTHING was played by me on my keyboard through MIDI, I used no loops or anything.
