Nice audition, bro. Try warming up your voice a bit more before recording though. Your enunciation needs work.
In this audition, I took two lines that Jeff says in the comic and said them each twice.
The first time I say the line, it's in my regular voice. This is in case my casual speaking tone actually fits the character. Also, it would be easier for me to use this voice for the musical numbers (since I'm assuming that the songs from the comic are going to carry over to the cartoon).
The second time, it's in the voice I came up with for the character. Since Jeff is a silly character, I decided to come up with voice that reflects that. This voice sounds more doofy and I think it works really well for the role.
Enjoy the clip, and Jeremey, if you're watching this, I sincerely hope that you'll consider me for the role.
STAY FUZZY! ;D

Thanks, friend-o. While I don't really warm-up, I do take several takes that I scrap until I come up with a good one. Unfortunately, I often find myself going, "Eh, good enough," when I really shouldn't. (Also, it may have had something to do with the fact that I was recording the last two-thirds of it at 4 AM)
But thanks for the suggestion. Maybe I'll do it the next time I try to voice something.
Please contact me if you would like to use this in a project. We can discuss the details.
