Beastly, it's perfect for moments where you're actually in a cave or mineshaft, or perhaps in idol conversation with death himself.
This is an odd one. Definitely the most ambient thing I've ever done. There are a lot of cool effects throughout this, though there's not a ton of melodic development. Also yes there ARE melodies. Listen closely, you can hear them repeat a few times. Remember, since this is ambient, they're subtle.
The second half of this song took a comparatively very-short amount of time. I'm sure you can hear why. It still sounds cool though. That's actually the reason for the name, it was originally just named "Shaft". However, now there are two. One is inverted, one is not.
I'm fairly sure the person who requested this was wanting it for SCP-087 ("Scary Staircase Simulator" game).
Sadly, I had to cut the audio rate to 244kbps rather than the usual 320. Oh well. Still fairly high quality.
As always, enjoy~
Oh yeah and happy early halloween everyone. c:

Well thank you! I'm glad you enjoy it so much :)
This is most interesting piece of music i have ever listened too. :)
Whoah really? Sweet, I'm glad you think so. :)
Wait... did you just play the first half backwards?
Niiiiice... ^_^

The Other Other God
Why yes. I actually did. :P Didn't particularly feel like attempting to make more boring long notes, or notate everything in reverse order.
Fortunately, I'm not going to be so lazy on the next song I'm making, which I already have the idea for, and I've already planned out somewhat.
Please contact me if you would like to use this in a project. We can discuss the details.
