Some people might not really understand the definition of ambience but this is good, for ambience. if you're trying to go for something a little more upbeat try adding even more layers, i know you get timid about it but dont worry it usually works out. if you want to exchange aims or something that'd be cool. talk to ya later,
Thanks! Still don't know anything about layers.
Unique but requires a bit of rethinking...
Interesting song, I can certainly imagine this being a gameboy song with a drum beat added. Interesting drum beat, though your song doesn't have much in the way of growth or evolution. You double the melody line and add that percussive beep which keeps the listener's attention; but I thought it should be accompanied by a tonal rhythm or bassline.
Also, trying layering one or two more instruments on top, you would be amazed at how much better it sounds just to have an instrument playing a root note every so often. Its a unique song, but lacks a few key aspects to hold the listener's attention. Keep going mate!
Thanks a lot for the review, I was going fro an uplifting sort of simple funky groove..I'm still kind of a noob, but thanks for the ideas
It needs more substance. Too simple.
Sounded a lot like Mario Paint with a drum beat to go behind it. Then again Mario Paint can sound pretty good sometimes. But this just sounded so repetitive. You should at least add in some variation, or have a feeling you are trying to convey with your music. Good luck on your next entry
IDK what mario paint is but i guess that's why im still a noob...
hmmm too simple
seems really simple, and i dont know how long you have been making music so i wasnt sure what to put the effort as, its ok, its not annoying, but it has emptyness that you might try to fill with a deep chord or tone.
I havn't been making music for too long, but I'm getting the hang of it, i appreciate your review.
