This submission is for the Orchestral Mac12 Jan/Feb competition.
This piece is part of my Moons of Jupiter collection. Each song I write this semester will be modeled and named after a moon of Jupiter in honor of some of my favorite composers who have written music about Jupiter itself.
This is my first submission of 2012 so I hope you enjoy. Please feel free to rate and leave a comment.
P.S. I'm terrible sorry about it being so quiet. But my computer still isn't strong enough to handle orchestra sized scores without having to lower the volume.

I downloaded and finally decided to come back and rave about how awesome it is! It reminds me a bit of both the soundtrack from the first StarWars and the soundtrack from that old N64 game Jet Force Gemini. Both were awesome soundtracks, and this piece is awesome as well.
You could always amp the volume in an external program like Audacity. Anyway, awesome work! Very different, very unique!
Pleasant, i too wish it was a little bit longer. It felt pretty lush and the peaks and tension work well. I think it woulda been nice to touch on some of the flute melody used at the beginning. it seems to disappear and never get revisited again. I think it might have tied it up nice to touch on it before the song ends. Good stuff.
hey very nice i really like it i see you got a bit of Holst in there, very nice! good work keep it up
Definitely a very good track. This one's quite different from the other submissions I've heard so far, in that it IMO would work better with visuals, as the track to a movie.
On the other hand, I'd also imagine this'd work out very well played by an orchestra, live. Only thing I really can wish for is that it's a bit longer. The variation and different peaks in the track make it come a live and the composition is absolutely amazing, in my opinion. The samples used are crisp, but I do wish it would be a bit loude and a bit more powerful during the high points.
Please contact me if you would like to use this in a project. We can discuss the details.
