Wow, I haven't heard you in ages man, I see you've improved...a lot!
I haven't felt the way I do about dubstep like this since I first heard it.
Until I heard this
It starts out slow and relaxing, and shoots off into a mad as bass wobble

Using my new found knowledge, I'm trying to re-mix my old track "Manic Manor". It's sounding a lot clearer, but wayyy more empty.

I agree with empty.
But your bass has come a long way since when you started out. It's really picking up :). don't stop now.
Composition here is good, just a little underwhelming with the bass.
We all start out with almost no recognition. Don't let that get you down. Keep the new stuff coming.
