This was made with Massive and Absynth 5 in Fl Studio.

Well here's a little story that i made when i mas making the lyrics for this track:

James is a little kid who is fascinated in becoming an astronaut when he gets older, he had his room filled with all kind of spacey stuff. One day he was on the hospital visiting his father who was sick with a terminal disease. He brought with him a silver space ship toy that his father gave him on his birthday hoping he could play with him at the visit.

When James saw him he asked him "When are you coming back home??", he grabbed his toy and told him " I won't be coming back home, because I'm going on a secret mission to explore the galaxy finding a new planet"

" I'm not going alone" he said "Even if I'm away from you, I'll be with the stars watching you while they guide me to find the way home."

So the lyrics are pretty much based on this conversation that James had with his father.

I can imagine an adult James visiting his father's grave remembering the last conversation he had with him. ( this would be at 1:56 , the part where the lyrics start)

I'm flying into space
Away from home

I will explore the whole galaxy
into my spaceship
we will find life on a new planet
away from you

I will explore the whole galaxy
This is my place now
with the stars they will travel with me
away from you

Thanks for listening

Ive heard like one or 2 songs of dubstep but damn this is hot... i will be listenin more to it. dats great talent u have.

Acid-Paradox responds:

Then there's must be a reason why you gave me a 9?? Because there must be something that you didn't like then. I would be very grateful if you guys can point it out.

Acid-Paradox responds:

Eiffel 65 it's one of my biggest influences, those guys were gods back in 1999-2000.
Too bad they break up and now they make shitty remixes of their gold songs.

But yeah , the lyrics have a lot of eiffelness...... first song that comes in my mind is another race but yeah:

Thanks for the review!

This is a seriously strong beat and I really enjoyed the high quality patches and synths used. I feel like the portamento on the lead, may have been a bit overused. The result being a 1950's science fiction sounding melody. I loved the choice of chord progression, and the pads in the background really filled the empty space well. The lead vocals also had that overused portamento effect I spoke of. I understand how easily you find something that sounds amazing and end up overusing it. Just be mindful of how your audience interprets things, and normal music listeners get annoyed and bored very easily. Overall this has a crystal clear sound and an intensely strong and cool beat. Way to fit the contest criteria very well! 9.2

Acid-Paradox responds:

lol i didn't noticed that the vocals had portamento until i read this. I agree with the lead though , i think i overused it , it's just that i couldn't find something to put there and i just had one day left to finish this.

Intro is interesting in it's 8-bitness. I like the steady progression. Naturally I am not a big fan of dubstep - but this song takes a good combinative approach of a song you might hear in a "platypus" clay shooting arcade game with some mild dubstep action.

It's kind of intriguing to listen to - really does remind me of a space shooter game - personally I feel this would be a good addition - AND you added vocals!

Yeah man I'm gonna have to agree with FrozenFire - pretty spectacular - good job!
