Thank you for finishing!
Been waiting since you put V1 out for you to finish this. Your take on this classic song is just astounding. This song was everything I could expect after hearing your demo. Well done good sir, well done.
My next to final draft of my take on Hill Top Zone (Sonic the Hedgehog 2). I plan on adding some original touches, as well as mixing the sound properly. But I don't wanna keep you guys waiting any longer. Big shout out to those that loved the first draft so much. It pleasantly surprised me how popular this remix was :D
Suggestions and requests are ALWAYS welcome. Please write some constructive feedback and/or at least vote if you download the track. I can't get better without you guys! And thanks so much for the support!!

You finished it!
I loved the original, really glad you finished it up. I'd say the chorus samples are a little weak, but the composition is fantastic, great use of the original tune.
OH LAWDY LAWDY!
Interesting take on Hill Top Zone it may not be what I expected but dammit this is one lively song! I love the Black church choir to go along with it but I think you should've made it a tad slower to make it more fitting. Still not a bad piece you got here!
LMAO!! Glad you dug the soulful touch I infused here ;) Yeah I was thinking about adding a part in the intro that matched the tempo of the original more. I'll look into it making that, if not making another whole arrangement
Sounds more like
Sonic running from a church choir lol
Haha! Sonic's running on water while the church tryna "save" 'em! Brilliant!! XD
Cool.
It has a western feel, as everyone else pointed out, but it also reminds me of Diddy Kong Racing a little. I'm thinking of Sonic wearing a big-ass hat with a piece of straw in his mouth, racing a train or some horses. The train runs through a small ravine, and a band of Indians attacks it. Sonic runs up the sloped side alongside the train, jumping over one Indian and sliding underneath the next, taking a tomahawk from his belt and throwing at an arrow shot at him, splitting it in half. Beast.
Definitely waiting for the finished version.
YES!! Whoa, I didn't even realize the DKR similarities but it does have a Dave Wise zippiness to it, now that you mention it. And yeah that's a perfect picture of it, although I kinda had Robotnik/Eggman in mind for the train conductor too ;)
Please contact me if you would like to use this in a project. We can discuss the details.
