This is the second song we ever wrote. Like Separation, this one was changed drastically since we first wrote it; the whole song was even moved up two notes. I love playing this one live because of the drum solo. :) This song is from the point of view of someone who is living their life controlled by an overprotective parent or some other controlling person, and they are basically trying to become their own person.
I love hearing songs like this on NG
Simply because it's all RECORDED and not just made with a program.
But I don't just like the song for that reason, I also like that it sounds great. You all obviously know what you're doing as a band.
