posted for ngadm auditions. I feel this is kind of cheating because those violins sound too well.. But anyways, here it is

Unusual

Really nice, slow chords to begin with, kind of relaxing the listener. The instruments used are very good, I especially like how the strings swell in, heightening the atmosphere. I half expected a full percussion section to step in.

The strange, buzzing percussion-like instrument steals the listener's attention from the beautiful chromatics you have here. It sounds way to strange and random. I'm not sure what effect you were trying for, so it's all a matter of personal taste.

Keep up the good work!

yeah, the buzzing is way too loud, thanks

Messy

You know there's something wrong with your rolls if they sound more like buzzes :>

Not a terrible track, but it all just feels a bit messy. I really like the violin and the piano, but the rolls, or buzzes, just mess it up a bit, they feel more annoying than a part ofthe track and make it all sound a bit messy. I liked the bassdrum, which you used scarcely. The melody is very good as well. Proper rhythmics instead of the roll could make wonders for this.

Make the 'rolling' a tiny bit less sharp.

I've got pretty tolerant ears so all I can say is that it's just a tiny bit too buzz-like. And I mean, a very, very tiny bit.

I like the feel of this music. It doesn't feel like it's going anywhere but why not use that to your advantage? It'd be a great loop. It'd work well as the background music to a Desert Wasteland themed level, or an abandoned city theme.

I like it all really. It's good and I think you can take this further, remove a tiny bit from that buzz/roll and you'll be halfway there. Other than that.. you could add more SFX here and there and take a more ambient approach with this, to form it into a nice atmospheric loop.

Good piece

The only downside to this really appears to be buzzing anyways. Aside from that the rest of the beat is very solid. Kind of has a really strange feeling to it like you were watching the story of a new comer arriving in town to help keep ghosts at bay and stuff.

The drums seem to play for most of the time anyways which has a dramatic feel to it anyways. The violins are calming and very well composed. They give a feel as if something sad might be happening as well that makes the residents very sad or angry at something.

The lower violin notes play a more dynamic feel and give out the feel that some weird stuff might go down as they guy pulls out his ninja swords and stuff. The piano makes the piece feel a bit calmed.

Overall, really cool piece of work.

The buzzing annoys me.

That buzzing... it makes my head hurt. >.<

Don't have too much to say about this... It's pretty repetitive, has a nice feel, I guess, but again, that buzzing. It is ANNOYING. Perhaps it's supposed to be electronic, but... that's a bit too much.

The buzzing at the beginning made me think that it was in a different time signature than it actually was - confusing. The tune is simple, repeats a bit too often, doesn't really go anywhere... It's kind of just boring. I would vary it a little bit more, if I were you.

I would also attempt to make the buzz slightly less annoying, but if that doesn't annoy most people, then alright.

Anyway, that's my two cents. I'd polish this up a bit, it could be alright in the end.

buzzing? Hah it is more like rolling. Software I use wasn't able to detect the pitch it is in so I just used whatever it was. Maybe you are right but I just don't hear the disharmony. Yeah, it doesn't go anywhere, I was kind of unable to continue it. Thanks for review
