This is a fairly Fantasy-based piece, and since that particular style seems to be a Newgrounds favorite I'm hoping that this song will find a good home here. The music itself is strictly instrumental--through the first half. The second half, however, incorporates a smooth Trance beat. I think you'll like it.

This is a song about memories. Good memories, to be precise. Unpleasant ones have no place here. Clearly the music will mean something entirely different from one person to the next, and that's exactly the way it should be. Maybe it will help you relive a fond memory, or even one that you may have forgotten, and that would be just fine. Please, enjoy.

I've put this beautiful song in my Hope playlist because that's what it inspires in me. Hope! Hope can sometimes be hard to come by and to have it here in direct soul infusion form is a precious commodity.

There is a levity that brings fullness to the song. The music climbs to the heights without being jittery or anxious. It carries peace with it. And anticipation too. It seems like the song starts with a sense of wonder and that wonder creates waves on which the hope and later anticipation rise and swell until they fill the heart to overflowing.

I am hard pressed to find a song of yours without an underlying sense of hope and peace, Chrononomad. Even the darker pieces have it. But in songs like Aria Of Memories it truly breaks free and soars!

ChronoNomad responds:

I am truly honoured that you have added this song to one of your playlists, shoKawa. Hope is something that I have never truly lost, but yes...it can indeed be difficult to hold on to at times. To hear that the music gives you such an infusion of hope means the world to me.

I have similar feelings when I listen to this, interestingly enough. The arpeggios, rising and falling as they do, create that sense of anticipation as it moves forward. Peace and joy and melancholy are interwoven to heighten that overall sense of wonderment, and to have that essence fill your heart to overflowing pleases me greatly.

Haha, that is very true. Hope and peace always have been and remain the cornerstones of my life, and therefore become a definitive component within the music of my soul. It is interesting that you see it within the darker pieces, as well. It's that hope, the light that lives within even the blackest darkness, that I try to get across. And since it cannot be extinguished within myself, I think that it will always shine through in my music, as well.

Many, many thanks for yet another wonderful review! My cup runneth over.

Do du doo dew du duu du dew/dew dew doo dew due..

I thought it was rather pleasant. It's simple. Simple melody. Simple atmosphere. Simple bass. Simple secondary melody. It's very relaxing. Then the castle like music comes in, and it reminds me of looking at the night's stars from ontop of a castle; talking to the king about how we are going to save the world.. and he says: ''U mad bro?''. Lol! XD It's really nice though. 5/5 10/10. I will give your other songs a chance to appease my interest, don't worry. They may be subpar compared to your Number 1 song, but they each tell a story regardless. ^-^

Philosophy # 19394

When you stare out at night, gazing at the stars, you come to realise that they still shine through a million/billion miles of darkness. And, even then.. Just like the king of that very castle, they are a mere few inches away and they only are a hollow shadow who never cared about anyone, or this world, only themselves..

ChronoNomad responds:

The King has fallen prey to the world of memes! I'm glad that you pointed out the simplicity of this piece because I actually find that to be one of its finest attributes. The stars in the cosmos make for nice imagery, dotting the black velvet sky with pinpricks of light here and there. Some of those very stars have burned out and died hundreds, even thousands of years ago, and yet their light still shines for us to see within the canopy of the night sky so very many light years away from their point of origin. It's like they leave their legacy behind even after they cease to exist, and that's a beautiful thing.

Nice work chrono!

and lol, the ur reply to the last review was longer than the review itself XD

ChronoNomad responds:

Y'know, sometimes I guess I just feel like writing... A lot. lol

Thanks for the review! I'm glad that you enjoy this piece. ^_^

Now I feel kinda bad that I don't have tons and tons of stuff to say... >_>

echoing sonata

first words that came to mind, you hit the idea of ones hall of memories being long and cavernous with what came to me as echoing notes

ChronoNomad responds:

Good memories are as vast and deep as an ocean, and as clear as polished glass. They shine brighter than the sun, emit a warmth that prickles like electric fire yet never burns, and can fly faster and higher than anything...except the power of human imagination!

They reflect our hearts; our minds; our souls. Without our memories we would be as nothing, and without us they would never have existed in the first place. The truth, wrapped in an enigma, sealed within a paradox, and hidden in a secret place that only we know. From there, we may choose to selfishly hoard them or share them with others as we see fit; it is ultimately up to the owner and what he or she decides.

Congratulations, you now have new memories cascading along the endless river of time! Time, which only moves in one direction: forward. Yet with memories we can break even the laws of time with an unspoken thought. Who knew that memories held such power?
