Title: Dragon's Burden
Album: Draconity
Track #09
---------
PLEASE RAISE YOUR VOLUME FOR INTENSE MUSIC.

A story of the elder dragon whose thought lingers in memory of the past. He learns that life of dragon is of no longlasting happiness but merely an outcast entity in the society. He craves for a normal life as a human before the awakening...even it is now impossible. The only thing he could do is to accept in his true identity and live along with it....forever.

Relaxed

This just makes you feel real laid back and relaxed incredibly which works out nicely for me I guess since I don't hear many upbeat songs like this often. It doesn't sound incredibly upbeat but it does make you feel pleasant and relaxed as well too. So great work in that part.

The many classical instruments I can never recognize come together as if forming a friendship and just think of how to make people feel better and this beat feels great in a lot of ways as well too. I really think you did an excellent job here on this piece.

Overall, bliss.

Thank you for your feedback. :) I'm glad you like it.

Great song

A very good and very relaxing, yet somewhat melancholic song. I think you've just found the right mood for this song. A dragon thinks about the past, well it's very easy to get a bit melancholic if you do that, so it's just right for this song.

I like the composition very much. I just listened to this song a few times in a row. I completly forgot I loaded this song, while I was browsing on a different page, heh. This only happens if I like the music, my brain kind of "blends out" the music, so I listen to the music, without really listening to it (if that makes any sense at all... >_>). If I don't like the music I'm always like: "Ghaa, this sh*t is annoying, turn it off!"
So, it's not a bad thing for me I "forgot" that I was listening to this song. ^^

Anyway, I like that this song stays so calm the whole time. Again, this fits great to the little story you wrote up in the comments section. A faster pace wouldn't have the same feeling here.
But "calm" doesn't equal "boring", the song is quite intense, even though it loses a bit of it's intenseness (is that a word?) once the piano sets in at 1:49. I guess this is the part where the dragon learns to accept his true identity.

The only thing I didn't like was the chimes at 0:52, as they seem to be a bit overused in those kind of songs.

Anway, this song is going straight to my favs! :)

Nice job!

Really liked this track, everything has its own place here and it has very good ambiance to it.
Two things i didnt like: The string samples you have kinda give it away that this wasnt a recording, you should try to tweak them so all your classical instruments samples emit a feeling as they were recorded in a studio etc.
Second, the harmonies the piano played were ok but could have been better. Dont take these too harsh as these are just tips on what to improve on...

Thanks for the critiques. :) I like how you point the rooms for improvements out for me rather than just words of praise. I would take those comments to improve in the upcoming works.
