"Harlem Nocturne" has been frequently recorded. Artists include the Glenn Miller Orchestra,[3], The Lounge Lizards, Duke Ellington, Harry James, Earl Bostic, King Curtis, Anton Szandor LaVey, Herbie Fields,[2], Willy Deville, David Sanborn[4][5], and guitarist Danny Gatton[6] The song peaked at #39 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart in 1966 for The Viscounts.[2], Michael Lington [7]


In 1990, pianist Kofi gained popularity in the instrumental world for her cover from the album of the same name "Harlem Nocturne."[8]


It was also the theme song for the television series Mickey Spillane's Mike Hammer.[3]

Great sample, sick flows, this is where it's at man. Very nicely.

Great vibe

Love the concious voice on this. The jazz sax and deep bass mixed with subtle beat got this beat cool. The flows complinent the feel the beat quite nicely. Great jam here, props Uno and Dan-D.
