I've never heard strings like that in my life. Are they synthesized? Samples? I've no idea, but they're really impressive. I'm not entirely sure if the super-portamento heavy high-pitched g-funk synth fit in with the strings. And like ReklessCreati0n said, different drum samples would've really brought this over the top. But otherwise, impressive work. Impressive melodies. Impressive arrangements. Interesting music!

This is a remix of Persona 4's "I'll Face Myself" song.
I tried to make something awesome. Something better than the stuff I usually do. I think I succeeded. Specially since I'm, say, "out of my comfort zone" (that zone being chiptunes).
Of course, this isn't as great as the original song (at least I think so), but hey! You'll decide that, I guess!

Not completely amazing, but you've got some potential man!
I will pass on some tips that I got from people, try to change up your drum samples, add some filters or something to make them sound eh' "not default" if you will.
I think that would help out a lot!
