Live looping is something that I do a lot, in fact it's currently how I play live. I haven't really put any examples of me playing live looping on here (didn't come across as very NG) however I've decided to put this up here anyway.
Don't know if anyone here is familiar with Erik Mongrain (if you're not please check him out) but it was inspired by him, the bass starts out flat on my lap and me tapping bits out, then I played it normally for the solo

Maybe you could post the song in a better quality and uncompressed on a website other than NG, and put a URL so people can listen to it without the clicks.
And I actually think it sounds ind of nice with the clicks in a way. It sounds like a harmonic pluck.

I am not entirely clear on how this works
However, I do recognize that mastering is an issue when live. Everything is too loud.
But I don't give a damn about the final result, I am just listening to the sounds.
Ok so.... it kinda builds up... I just realised, your music would be good in films :D

haha no worries man, admittedly this was a bit more experimental. I've been trying to see if I can hold my own on a solo set and it's get boring if it's just standard loop then solo over loop.
It's difficult to explain how this works without showing you in person. I was going to start making performance videos and putting them on youtube, but for that to work I need to find my camera =P
I'd recommend you listen to this on the soundcloud page as it is better quality, or come along to a gig =P what I like about this song the most is that's different every time I play it.

Yeah the clicks are you. Thats static contamination on the mic. Use a proper Input next time. Or earth your mic better.
Sound q could be better but the song sounds very nice.
no it's not me, I DI'd the bass and the original mixdown (a WAV file) there's no clicks, it's irritating having to compress everything to an mp3 file.
