Awesome Soundtrack for Mediocre Game

I recall "They Came From 'Nam" was given a lukewarm reception. I played and beat the first boss and, upon realizing its extreme difficulty, spared myself a lifespan drop of one hour and bothered not to go any further. Of the Game Jam entries, "They Came From 'Nam" was one of the lesser ones, as far as votes go. So few people would ponder fondly of the ripping boss music, even if it is technically sound and right up a video game's alley. Schleif ought to find another game development project that will exploit his track to its fullest. This is a far more epic boss than a sheet of fucking paper that's filling the screen. Seriously.

This is definitely a thrash-fest, and a digitized one at that. Bet Schleif can compose for an actual metal band, and let them make his material a fleshed-out reality. All that's missing is a few roars and screams from the man himself, although really that's just optional. Nice to know it loops well, too.

Because it fit and it is a sound composition, I will vote five on the soundtrack for "They Came From 'Nam", but I won't do the same for the game itself....
