"Liquid Skies" released by mod15, here for Newgrounds!
Starts off as an ambient-trance piece, then morphs into a danceable trance piece, with the end back to ambient-trance. Just under six hours to make it, just under six minutes.
Only 3 melodic/harmonic instruments, 2 kicks, a hat, a clap, and a snare. Very simple.
450kbps, 32 bit floating point depth, 512-point sinc resolution, made with FL Studio 9, ProtoPlasm, and Nexus. As well as a few samples for the percussive sounds.
EDIT: 8/8/11 EP including this song is out, infinitely better quality than this version.

Quite good
Quite good so far, but I mioss the beat at the beginning, maybe because the beginning is more Ambient than Trance.
The melody is more energetic when you add filling notes between the gaps one octave deeper.
The hihats need a little bit work and they should be a bit more in the background.

Yeah, the beginning is more ambient, not really focused on the beat, more on getting people to fall into a state of trance.
The melody may be more energetic that way, but it's also more generic that way. I try to be as original as possible.
Yeah, I would do that (bring the hats back and work on them,) except it takes over half an hour to render this song on my single core processor, so...

Everything in this just FITS. Nothing was out of place, it was extremely beautiful. Had completely positive effects on myself and my friend that listened with me, just like avalonian said below me.
