Earlier today, I created a fun little section for what would be a great techno piece. Tonight, though, I opened it up, and felt there was something wrong - so I edited it. I'm tired right now, so the editing changed the section into a totally out of place, melancholy piece. So, I figured I'd tone down the crazy drums to something subtle, and post it as a loop on Newgrounds.
Aiming for the 1.00 rating, yo.

Thank you so much. :] I'm working on some longer pieces now - constantly scrapping 40-70 second pieces as I learn more and gain talent and experience. Soon, I think I'll finally begin pumping out fully fledged productions for you all to love or hate.
For now, though, I really can't stress enough how much reviews like this one help me to press forward. I have a tendency to think my music is terrible, so without you guys, I could never find the will to put myself out there for all to critique.

Short, but sweet

While it is very short, I like the overall tone of the melody. I can definitely sense some of the melancholy you mentioned, although it still has a subtle energy to it that keeps it moving without being too heavy.

I guess I would describe it as light, but with some emotional weight.

And as for it being a loop, I think you've connected the beginning and end together really well and for me, this flows together better than a lot of the other loops that I've listened to on Newgrounds. Something longer would definitely be awesome!
