Hey, people! Got another remix down for your listening pleasure. This is the winning track written for OCR's compo 'Grand Maverick Remix Battle' (or GMRB), first round, Zero Bracket. As long as I keep winning I'll continue to upload my entries here.

For those that won't use the link, here's a quick rundown - everyone participating chooses a 'Maverick'. The music from that Maverick level is to be remixed into every song you write. You are paired off with an opponent, tournament style, and you must mix his theme into your track, as well. I am Crystal Snail, and my opponent was Wind Crowang, so you'll hear both prominently in the mix. We each have a week to make the track, and a week more to vote on the tracks.

It'd be great, too, except I needed to edit the track to write the actual name of the song, but now I can't >:(
Really, though, I'm glad someone used it - no complaints from me (and for the record, the name of the track is "Crystal Crow Crusher").
Edit: The flash was deleted, I guess, so now I can name my track. Yay.
Perfect Balance
The problem with many techno/video game songs put up on NG is that they lack a balance in their separate components, be it the melody, chordal background, harmony, bass, beat, whatever. This piece has a tremendous balance in all regards throughout the song, and that's definitely a feat to be proud of.

It's nice to hear someone appreciate balance, every once in a while - I pay particular attention to that aspect, so it's nice that people notice. If you really want to blow your mind on this one, try tapping the rhythm to it - now that's the real accomplishment of this track ;)
