remenbering the good metallica...
sound like a fusion with some metallica song with the rhytm of pantera and megadeath solo.
R.I.P Cliff burton and Dimebag...
I sat down and picked up my guitar and strummed out a few thrash metal metallica/megadeth style riffs last night and this is what I've got so far.
The funky cleans at the end just HAD to be done. Yea, it's slightly nicked from 'Today is the die you die!'. But I just loved how I pieced the bass riffs together on it.
Hope you like it so far.
EDIT: Added some more riffs AND A MOTHER FUCKING EPIC KEYBOARD (wasn't actually even done with a real keyboard - it was all editted in a midi editor, lol) SOLO! :D
ANOTHER EDIT:
Okay, so I've got this shit written down and dusted... I'm not completely satisfied with it yet so I may add more later.

FUCKIGN AMAZING !!!!!!
holy shit dude there is only two words to describe your song dude and that is FUCKING AMAZING !!!! i loved it man especially half way though the song when it slowed down that was insane man :D im about to listen to it again !!!!
epic
dude sounds epic as hell. to me it sounds like Austrian Death Machine with a hint of disturbed, but like i said it sounds epic
ok...
Well it sounds ok. And the playing isn't bad. But innovation is very lacking here even if it may be an homage to thrash metal.
-5 for reuse of riffs composed by other people. The riff that comes in at 0:10 is essentially of the song "Damage Inc." by metallica, about 3:15 into that song, you will hear this. The whole song generally seems kind of unoriginal.
-1 for the name, a seemingly thoughtless spin off the band name "MEGAdeth" and their song "Head CRUSHER".
nice
hmmmm does sound really like old sort of classic metal with cool breakdown nice job sorta reminds me of metallica but with your own heavy spin on it nice like what youve done with this one cant wait to hear what you add or dont lol
Please contact me if you would like to use this in a project. We can discuss the details.
