I can honestly say that this song is easily my strongest, it's one of my favorites.

I've decided to call it "Kingdom" because of the "plucked" synths I used like the "Sitar" and "Harpsichord," which somehow gave me a 'royal' feeling.

The only problems I could find with this song are the drums I used - You can almost barely hear the snare drum - and the bassline during the chorus leading off the second set of verses is a bit... 'off' from the lead synth. The midbreaks are also a tad repetitive... Otherwise, I've found this to be a very enjoyable songs, and dwarfs my others.

Enjoy, rate, and review. =D

I can see the royal feeling for sure.
Almost like an old village right by a castle and everyone's doing their jobs and stuff.
Anyway, nice song. The lead sitary and harpsichordy sounds are a bit too loud. And others.= a bit to quiet.

Thanks very much for the feedback. =D Perhaps I'll eventually remake this one day, reworking the sounds, and their levels, it's absolutely true that the leads are too loud.

The main string synths are entirely too loud, as you have already stated, the drums are too low, and its ridiculously reapatatious.

the gated pad you put behind it doesn't fit at all with it, also the name is misleading. When i think kingdoms, i think of huge orchestrals, and low epic strings and pads.

Also, instead of using a saw type of bass, use a square. they tend to sound a bit better in dance songs, unless your going for techno, which in a saw is required.

Mmm, I think you might be missing a bit of what I'm trying to go for...

I call it "Kingdom," because of the Harpsichord sound mainly. We all get different connotations for something, and for some reason "Kingdom" came to mind, with me. =D

What I go for is like a cross between synthpop and techno (Hence the repitition, although, you are right in that the repitition can get ridiculous). I would put down "Synthpop" for the genre, if I could.

I don't recall using a pad, although, I think it might stem out of the Sitar lead...

Otherwise, thanks for the review. I'll keep these aspects in mind. =D
