I Miss My Grandfather...
Purely a concept piece, I suppose. Wrote it a while ago.
All reviews are welcome.

I Miss My Grandfather...
Wow...
I cried a little when I heard this. Very reminiscent of the music in Trace Memory...just beautiful!
This song is underated
This song seems to tell the story of an old man who's soul is trapped inside a grandfather clock. His soft weeping can be heard through the pendulum. His tears are the strings that seep through oak wood and stream down the clock. His only job now, is to watch time through eyes of a clock, until he rots away thousands of years later.
Awesome
I disagree with Bunk420, the name is "The Grandfather Clock" the frequent quarter note is what keeps it in TIME...the frequent beating of a grandfather clock ticking away the seconds, the heartbeat of a living creature...it has no fluctuations, neither should this piece which represents those things.
Exactly what I was going for. Thanks.
I like the melody. Sad, yet still retains hope
I like this. I really do. Though i believe by breaking up the constant quarter note patterns in the beginning into a multitude of notes, and rests, could give it an even deeper feeling. 7/10 3/5, Sounds good, in time and i love that key.
Please contact me if you would like to use this in a project. We can discuss the details.
