loop packs? and you were thinking loopz were bad! lolz
This is the second result of a little project over in the Audio Forum: to make an Exquisite Corpse of a song. Basically, people sent me clips of a single instrument playing something that followed these rules:
- 150 BPM
- 4/4 time
- 34 bars long this time, with the first two for intro. No outro.
- Key of E major
Seventeen people sent in parts this time, yay!
I've broken the piece up into three sections: synths, drums & guitar & vox, and classical.
0:00 - 0:56: Synth
Featuring:
djInTheDark
GunnerD
Kris
SessileNomad
SineRider
Stupor
0:56 - 1:50: Classical
Featuring:
Bossler
Kaiserwolf
Matvei
Mussirus
Rig
SuperSteph54
1:50 - 2:46: Drums, Guitar, Vox
Featuring
Bjra
eatmeatleet
Kirbyfemur
SBB
thecoreman
2:46 - 3:42: The whole shebang!
3:42 - end: My own little mix of some loops that I thought sounded good together. The only thing I edited was the volume envelope - I also rearranged part of the drum loop.
Thanks to InvisibleObserver for the icon!
Stay tuned for the loop packs!

awesome
this turned out really well guys! great job to everyone. I'm glad i was able to participate =D
woa!
these corpse songs are awesome. I love how many different random instruments show up.
I know it may sound a litle conceded...
But honestly the best part for me was the part i was in. Everything seemed to fit together really well even some scariness in the transitions. The only problem i see in a lot of these is that certain instruments are more powerful than others, and well it's rather quiet all around, i have to have the speakers turned all the way up to hear it clearly. lol anyways, i'm just glad i didn't mess things up xD I love Bjras vocal parts of these, they seem to give them more fluency, or whatever the word you could use =3
Woot!
I am super psyched to be able to participate in something like this. Although, I had to compensate for a crappy with mic with effects, the glissandi in the beginning surprisingly fit :D awesome job to everyone who participated! the ending song was pretty sweet in how some pieces across genre were meant for each other. You really can't predict how some of this stuff will come together.
And that's what makes it so awesome :D
